The role acts as the architectural owner for the end-to-end D365 landscape ensuring that all solutions delivered by Genpact meet agreed standards, contractual commitments and are fit for future upgrades.
In addition to design governance, the architect will proactively review the platform and provide clear practical recommendations on Dynamics 365 ISV and Power Platform upgrades. Upgrade & Platform Roadmap Recommendations
- Regularly assess the current Dynamics 365 platform, ISVs and integrations for upgrade readiness
- Recommend when and how to adopt Microsoft platform updates, feature releases and deprecations
- Evaluate ISV upgrade paths and compatibility with Dynamics 365 platform updates
- Provide clear business-ready recommendations on upgrade timing, risks and effort
- Work with Genpact teams and Innocent stakeholders to shape a realistic phased platform roadmap
ISV & Ecosystem Oversight
- Maintain hands-on understanding of ISVs connected to Dynamics 365 in the client landscape
- Validate ISV usage, integration design, licensing assumptions and operational fit
- Challenge unnecessary customizations and ISV dependencies that increase long-term support effort
Deliverable Validation & Quality Control
- Validate solution designs, configurations, integrations and enhancements against agreed Statements of Work
- Ensure deliverables are technically sound, supportable and upgrade-safe before acceptance
- Provide architectural sign-off and input into release readiness decisions
Integration & Impact Assessment
- Assess upstream and downstream impacts of changes across ERP, data, reporting and external systems
- Ensure integrations follow consistent, supportable patterns
- Guide teams on extensibility choices that reduce upgrade and regression risk
Stakeholder & Delivery Collaboration
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to product owners and IT leadership
- Work closely with Genpact delivery teams to steer solutions early rather than correct them late
- Support architecture reviews, risk discussions and decision-making forums

- Identify platform risks related to upgrades, ISV dependencies, custom code and integrations
- Recommend practical alternatives that balance business needs with platform sustainability
- Drive simplification, reuse and standard ways of working across the D365 ecosystem
