About the Role
We're hiring a Backend Engineer with deep Java expertise and hands-on experience building enterprise integrations on the Microsoft stack. This is a high-ownership role - you'll design and ship production-grade connectors and integration pipelines that connect our platform to Microsoft's enterprise ecosystem, including Dynamics 365 (Agent/Copilot), Azure services, and Microsoft Graph APIs.
If you've built integrations from scratch, know your way around connector frameworks, and thrive in fast-moving agile teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services and APIs (Spring Boot) powering enterprise integrations.
- Work with Connectors for Microsoft enterprise systems – Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, and Azure AD – using established connector frameworks (e.g., Kafka Connect, Spring Integration, or Azure Integration Services)
- Develop deep understanding of Dynamics 365 data model, Dataverse APIs, and workflow automation
- Work on Azure-native deployments using App Service, Azure Functions, AKS, and Service Bus/Event Hubs
- Build robust, scalable backend services that facilitate critical data flow between our platform and Microsoft ecosystems
- Own features end-to-end – from design and development to deployment, monitoring, and production support
Required Education & Experience
- Java – 3–5 years software engineering building scalable backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs
- Microsoft Dynamics 365/Agent 365 – Hands-on integration experience; familiarity with Dataverse, Power Platform, or Copilot Studio is a strong advantage
- Connector Framework – Practical experience designing or consuming connectors — Kafka Connect, Spring Integration, Azure Logic Apps connectors, or equivalent (preferably built or maintained a custom connector for a Microsoft service in production)
- Microsoft Graph API – Proven experience with Graph API for data access across M365 services
- Azure Platform – Knowledge of Azure App Service, Functions, AKS, Azure AD / OAuth 2.0, Azure DevOps CI/CD
- Databases – SQL + NoSQL (Azure SQL / Cosmos DB preferred); schema design and query optimization
- Distributed systems – Experience with SOA, microservices, event-driven architecture
- Containers and orchestration – Docker + Kubernetes (AKS)
Good to Have Skills
- Azure Service Bus / Event Hubs for async messaging
- Infrastructure-as-code: Terraform or ARM/Bicep templates
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Application Insights
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Dataverse)
- Exposure to Copilot Studio or Azure AI Studio for Agent 365 extensions
Additional Information
We embrace flexibility and hybrid work opportunities to support diverse needs and lifestyles, while also valuing inclusive workplace experiences. By fostering a sense of community, we drive innovation, strengthen connections, and nurture belonging. Our commitment ensures you can work in a way that suits you best, while also engaging with colleagues to share ideas and build meaningful relationships.
