About the Role
This is a full-time, two-year fixed-term position in a development project for employer services and student employment.
Aalto University Corporate Relations is responsible for coordinating the university's collaboration with companies and organizations. We serve as a single point of contact for companies and help them find the right experts and partners at Aalto. We manage key partnerships and advance them in close cooperation with Aalto's leadership, academic staff, and company partners. We develop and offer collaboration models for companies in research, innovation, and talent.
Aalto University Career Design Lab helps students design sustainable, meaningful career paths and supports degree programs in strengthening employability skills and industry connections in education.
We are looking for a Corporate Relations Coordinator (events and marketing) to support our collaboration with employer companies and organizations, market our portfolio of services and events aimed at promoting students' employment, and organize and coordinate student-employer networking events.
Your Responsibilities
- Facilitate interactions between employer companies and students across all Aalto disciplines through multi-channel student and employer communications and networking events
- Organize employer-student matchmaking events, communicate about them to various audiences (students, employers) as well as conduct post-event evaluations and compile feedback
- Liaise with internal Aalto stakeholders and ensure their commitment to our activities
- Design and produce marketing materials and web pages
- Develop and maintain events and marketing related contact database (CRM)
Requirements
- A university degree in a relevant field, preferably in marketing
- Experience in versatile and effective marketing communications (e.g. videos for social media, e-newsletters), planning and implementing marketing campaigns and stakeholder event production (e.g. webinars, seminars, panel discussions)
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills in Finnish and English
- A goal-oriented, hands-on, and punctual working style; readiness for varied tasks; and the ability to drive initiatives from ideas to implementation
- Experience with CRM systems (Dynamics 365 Marketing & Events, Salesforce) and Adobe applications (Photoshop, InDesign) and/or ability to learn new systems quickly
