About the Role

The Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing business reports to assist with enabling decision makers in making well-informed business decisions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for data integrity within information management systems
  • Compiles and maintains large volume of real estate portfolio data within information management systems to support various reporting, benchmarking and analytical requirements
  • Generates and compiles data from multiple data sources using various business intelligence tools and information management systems
  • Prepares various reports including but not limited to performance reports and scorecard reports to assist with business communication and decision making
  • Performs calculations and analysis to fulfill requirements including but not limited to performance reporting, occupancy cost allocation and chargeback, budget to spend variance reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills

  • Education and Experience: Community college diploma or equivalent training (e.g. RPA, CET.) with more than one year up to three years of job-related experience
  • Data Management: Ability to process large amounts of data in an organized manner. Able to leverage insights and opportunities from data and metrics to build strategies and make recommendations
  • Technology Knowledge: Knowledge of trends in technology relating to software applications, such as Database tools, Power BI, Access, MS office tools, Tableau, SQL, Python, and others is considered an asset
  • Senior Management Relations: Can deal comfortably with more senior managers; can present to more senior managers without undue tension and nervousness; can determine the best way to get things done with them by talking their language and responding to their needs; can craft approaches likely to be seen as appropriate and positive
  • Language: French is considered an asset
  • Project Management: Able to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Attention to Detail: Very strong attention to detail
  • Data Analysis: Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Computer Proficiency: Computer proficiency in relational databases, reporting tools, MS Office including MS Access and MS Excel, with ability to learn new information management systems quickly
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication including ability to communicate with users with various technical backgrounds
  • Technical Learning: Picks up on technical things quickly; can learn new skills and knowledge; is good at learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge; does well in technical courses and seminars
  • Development Lifecycle: Familiarity with the development lifecycle and related change management concepts
  • CRM and Automation Tools: Knowledge in CRM, D365, PowerApps, PowerAutomate is considered an asset

Compensation and Employment Terms

This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $52,864 - $66,080 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate's competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
