As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a critical role within our Shared Services Finance team, delivering high-quality end-to-end accounts payable services across a large and complex healthcare organisation. You will be responsible for processing high volumes of invoices, managing supplier accounts, completing reconciliations, supporting payment runs and partnering with stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate and timely financial outcomes. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as we continue to enhance systems, automate processes and strengthen our Accounts Payable Centre of Excellence. This role is ideal for an experienced Accounts Payable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, takes pride in accuracy and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Things that work for us: 5+ years' experience as an Accounts Payable Officer within a medium to large complex organisation Demonstrated experience operating within a high-volume, fast-paced transactional finance environment Strong end-to-end Accounts Payable experience including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, creditor management and payment runs Experience working with OCR invoice processing technology and ERP finance systems Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar finance systems will be highly regarded Proven ability to investigate and resolve complex invoice, payment and three-way matching discrepancies Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships across Finance, Procurement, Operations and external suppliers Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation Strong written and verbal communication skills Relevant qualifications in Business, Finance, Accounting or Administration will be highly regarded More important than your industry background is your alignment to our Mission and Values, commitment to service excellence and genuine desire to contribute to an organisation that exists to improve the lives of others.
