About the Opportunity
Programmed Facility Management is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join our Group Procurement team based in Melbourne.
This full-time, permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys using data to solve business challenges, improve procurement processes and influence operational performance across a large national organisation.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you will play a key role in analysing supply chain performance, supporting procurement transformation initiatives, improving vendor onboarding and management processes, and driving continuous improvement across procurement systems and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Leveraging your analytical expertise and strong stakeholder management skills, your key responsibilities will include:
- Analyse supply chain, procurement, vendor onboarding, contract management and fleet management processes to identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop process maps, reporting dashboards and data-driven insights to support strategic business decisions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement efficiency, compliance and operational performance
- Support procurement transformation projects, including system optimisation and process redesign
- Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to monitor procurement KPIs and business performance
- Conduct procurement compliance reviews and provide recommendations to improve governance and risk management
- Support vendor onboarding, supplier management and procurement system administration across Dynamics 365
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure a positive and efficient procurement experience
- Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on procurement systems, reporting tools and best practice processes
- Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and support ongoing procurement strategy across the business
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain, procurement or business analysis with a passion for continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience analysing procurement, supply chain or vendor management processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Experience developing dashboards and reporting using Power BI or Tableau
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with knowledge of SQL and Python or R highly regarded
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365 FO and D365 CE) or similar enterprise systems
- Strong understanding of procurement, contract management and vendor management principles
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience supporting process improvement, systems optimisation and business transformation initiatives
