Staff Specialist Sales Ops Analysis

About the Role

Support Infineon's Automotive sales team by delivering outstanding customer support and driving operational excellence across quoting, pipeline management, forecasting, and analytics. In this role, you'll partner closely with field sales and internal stakeholders to keep opportunities moving, ensure data integrity, and improve the customer experience—helping power solutions that make life easier, safer, and greener.

Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

  • Deliver a first-class customer support experience
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and processes; act as the "voice of the customer" and partner with internal teams to resolve issues
  • Maintain and improve customer satisfaction in collaboration with field sales

Opportunity & Pipeline Management (Dynamics 365)

  • Manage and track the opportunity pipeline for assigned customers in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
  • Support customer requests related to opportunities (e.g., quotes, sample delivery, availability, product data, forecasting)
  • Ensure data completeness and accuracy throughout the Quote-to-Cash process

Quoting

  • Respond to RFQs in a timely manner, aligned with field sales, marketing, and the pricing office
  • Ensure quote consistency and accuracy by referencing global quote history, VPA, and other data sources
  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve pricing/PO issues and manage credit/debit notes
  • Support the VPA process as needed

Sales Forecasting

  • Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue for assigned accounts by analyzing order patterns, launches, product/project changes, relocations, and transferred business
  • Collaborate with customer plants and purchasing teams to resolve forecast discrepancies quickly
  • Review forecasts regularly with sales management and provide reporting as required

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Serve as the primary customer interface for product lifecycle topics; coordinate with internal stakeholders (account management, logistics, quality, marketing) to provide timely, accurate information
  • Plan and manage new product launches to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Execute product changes and discontinuations on schedule to support smooth transitions and profitability targets

Sample Support

  • Manage customer sample requests end-to-end
  • Coordinate with the sample center and marketing to resolve lead-time/availability constraints
  • Track on-time sample delivery to support key customer milestones

Accounts Receivable Support

  • Monitor accounts receivable for assigned customers and help resolve credit issues in alignment with Infineon's Credit & Collections team
  • Provide clarification on payment terms, price discrepancies, and credit/debit memos as needed

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and analyze key metrics including pipeline, revenue, and forecast performance across sales channels
  • Produce reports and presentations using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Tableau, and others as needed by sales and leadership

Requirements

  • Strong team player with initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Proven ability to develop simple, scalable solutions to complex business challenges
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to communicate analytical insights clearly in both written and verbal formats
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in inside sales, sales operations, or a comparable business function
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred

  • Experience with SAP, CRM tools (including Microsoft Dynamics 365), Tableau, and JDA S&OP

Compensation

Livonia, MI

  • Minimum base salary: $77,100 per year
  • Maximum base salary: $106,000 per year
  • All employees eligible to participate in an incentive plan
