About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will create, build, and support global applications for the D365 ERP Sales & Marketing (Quote to Cash) Team, that will help to drive New Balance to be a Top 3 Global Athletic Brand. This will be accomplished through the development, planning and implementation of strategic and responsive technical initiatives that support consistent business growth, expand market share, and strengthen brand equity and reputation.
Major Accountabilities
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Dynamic 365 Finance and Operations — focus on Sales & Marketing preferred
- Assist the core ERP team to develop the right scenarios and features to address Enterprise needs across all channels
- Work closely with business and/or IT management to define business requirements for new business needs
- Model business and systems processes based on findings through use case scenarios, workflow diagrams, and data models
- Document the company's existing application systems architecture and technology portfolio; make recommendations for improvements and/or alternatives
- Lead and perform analysis, design, and software development for assigned project and maintenance requests
- Ensure high quality and scalable technical solutions are implemented
- Design and implement strategic goals for maintaining applications
- Effectively communicate with NB staff, managers, external customers, and vendors on key project topics
- Consult with and make recommendations to the manager
- Proactively raise risks and issues to managers
- Translate technical information for all users, technical and non-technical
- Troubleshoot production support issues and provide comprehensive solutions
- Participate in the On Call rotation to the production systems
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and initiative
- Be adaptable to changing priorities and needs
- Take responsibility for commitments
- Maintain required confidentiality and demonstrate negotiating skills
- Mentor and coach other team members
- Foster a culture of agile, innovative, and customer-focused approaches within the team

Requirements for Success
- Understanding of functional and technical architecture of Dynamics 365 F&O or other cloud ERP services and functional consulting or product management in an implementation of ERP for 5+ years
- Experience in Sales & Marketing module preferred
- Expert problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Expert understanding of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid methodologies
- Expert understanding of applications development lifecycle
- Expert understanding of database design principles and database performance optimization
- Expert software engineering skills across all phases of software development lifecycle
- Excellent understanding of Azure cloud environments
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 8 years equivalent experience required
