About the role
We're looking for a Senior PMO to lead a structured gap assessment for the US business unit of a French-owned group. The goal is to map how the US and French sides operate, document where their processes and tools diverge, and produce a clear, actionable gap analysis.
This work sits ahead of an ERP migration (Baan to Microsoft Dynamics AX), but the migration is the backdrop, and the heart of the engagement is process alignment across two ways of working.
This is not a traditional coordination PMO. It's a hands-on, analytical role centered on rigorous analysis, cross-cultural alignment, and high-quality documentation.
Responsibilities
- Map and document the current-state processes in the US business unit.
- Benchmark them against the French reference operating model.
- Identify, classify, and prioritize gaps across both processes and tools.
- Produce a structured, well-documented gap analysis report.
- Facilitate alignment workshops with US and French stakeholders.
- Validate findings with both teams and keep them aligned throughout.
- Support the ERP project team (Baan to AX) with process input as needed.
Requirements
Must-haves
- Based in Cleveland, OH
- Real cross-cultural experience — not just international exposure, but hands-on work across cultures, languages, and ways of operating. You'll navigate this environment daily and build trust on both sides (US-France environment highly preferred)
- A proven track record as a Senior PMO on complex, multi-stakeholder transformation projects.
- Strong process analysis and documentation skills — this role is primarily analytical.
- Experience running gap assessments or process benchmarking exercises.
- Ability to produce thorough, defensible deliverables independently.
Nice to have
- French language.
- Experience in US–FRANCE integration or process harmonization projects.
- Background in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain.
- Familiarity with ERP environments; Baan and/or Dynamics AX a plus (not required).
How you work
- Detail-oriented and analytical — able to go deep into process-level detail without losing the bigger picture.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and working across organizational layers.
- Autonomous and rigorous, able to challenge assumptions respectfully.
Additional Information
- Location: Cleveland, OH — hybrid, minimum 3 days per week on-site.
- Project Length: 9 months.
- Start: August 2026
- Type: Contract / independent consultant / hourly pay
- Experience Level: Senior
- Contract type: Contract
