About our group | Mō te roopu

The Corporate Services Group works in close partnership with the wider business to lead, support, and enable the EPA to achieve its strategic intentions and effectively and efficiently deliver its core functions.

There are five key functions within the Corporate Services Group:

  • Information Management and Technology
  • People and capability
  • Communications and customer
  • Finance and business services
  • Enterprise projects

The Information Management and Technology function leads, maintains, and supports the EPA's IT and information management services, implements new hardware and software, assists staff with IT training and support, and ensures systems security.

About the role | Mō te tūnga

This role is based in our Wellington office. While we're happy to consider work-from-home arrangements, this role is not designed for full-time remote working.

The purpose of the Senior Developer Dynamics 365 position is to design, build, and maintain business solutions on the Dynamics 365 (and Power Platform) ecosystem so that organisational processes are efficient, automated, and aligned to business needs.

This will be done by:

  • Consulting with the business
  • Design and development of requirements
  • Regular maintenance and configuration of services and systems
  • Contributing to projects
  • Development of policies and procedures
  • Supporting the IT Manager to deliver the annual work programme

The Senior Developer needs to be able to communicate effectively, explain complex concepts in plain (non-technical) English, and work closely with project teams to deliver successful outcomes.

We are looking for an individual with a range of skills and capabilities – if you have some or all of the below, we would love to hear from you:

  • A genuine team player and effective communicator
  • High level skills in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform and associated Services
  • Knowledge of Azure active directory, role-based access, PowerShell scripting
  • Proven experience with service delivery
  • Experience in implementing of security across systems

Salary Range

$103,473 - $155,209 per annum (midpoint $129,341).

This is the full salary range of the band, from 80% - 120%. Appointments will generally be made at or below the midpoint of this range, depending on skills and experience.
