About the role
We are seeking expressions of interest from Senior Business Analysts to join our team in Melbourne. In this role, you will partner with clients to translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications, driving successful project outcomes through seamless communication, effective problem-solving, and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Business process modelling
- Gathering and documenting current and future requirements to provide expert advice and guidance
- Designing and implementing business solutions
- Working closely with stakeholders at all levels to develop, manage, and lead relationships
- Collaborating with Product Owners to develop and manage backlogs, epics, features, and tasks, ensuring they align with business priorities and delivery objectives
- Providing valuable insights through strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes
You'll have strong consulting skills, curiosity and a desire to add value. As an NCS consultant, you'll make a positive impact and work with our clients to upskill their teams, improve delivery and achieve outstanding outcomes.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in a complex business environment
- Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies with a track record of driving successful project outcomes
- Proven experience with gathering and documenting current and future state requirements, workshop facilitation, and business case development
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and software requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Excellent relationship management, interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication, together with experience writing Request for Proposal (RFP) or similar documentation
- Deep expertise in business analysis, CRM solution design, and data analysis
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics CE (Sales, Customer Service, and Project Ops), Power BI, and Power Automate
Desirable:
- Experience working in Government or Public sector
- Experience working on a mix of business systems and infrastructure projects
- Experience delivering functional and technical solutions across Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and BI reporting ecosystems
