Project Coordinator

About the Role

Indra Air Traffic is seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to develop, manage, and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), government deliverables, and financial deliveries for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) contract award – NEXCOM. This is a pivotal role within a multinational organization, ensuring all project activities are accurately scheduled, resourced, and tracked to meet program objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Manager in the execution of government programs and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed daily, weekly, and short-term production schedules based on demand plans, MPS, and capacity constraints.
  • Prepare and maintain customer invoices for timely capture of revenue and meeting financial metrics per program requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, CDRLS, status reports, meeting minutes, briefing materials, and compliance records.
  • Track program risks, integrate with internal and external teams to mitigate actions to support successful project execution.
  • Assist with maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), project plans, and configuration-controlled documentation.
  • Assist with audit preparation, compliance activities, and adherence to federal acquisition and program management processes.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between internal teams, subcontractors, government stakeholders, and customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in supporting projects or programs in a government, aviation, aerospace, transportation, or regulated industry environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience supporting executive-level reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Jira, Dynamics 365, or similar platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting FAA, Department of Transportation (DOT), or other federal programs.
  • Familiarity with government contracting environments and federal acquisition processes.
  • Knowledge of aviation systems, communication technology, infrastructure modernization, or system integration efforts.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional engineering organizations, and Integrated Product Teams (IPT).

Work Environment

  • Hybrid or on-site support based on program requirements.
  • May require occasional travel to customer sites, program reviews, or FAA/DOT facilities.
