ABOUT THE ROLE This is an exciting time for us, as we have created a brand new position, Platform Manager, Finance & Talent to support and take ownership of Cricket Australia’s core Finance and HR platforms, playing a pivotal role in ensuring our systems perform at their best for teams across CA and the State Associations. In this role, you’ll balance strong technical knowledge with a service first mindset, keeping the innings moving through reliable platform performance, continuous improvement, and forward-looking innovation. From day-to-day operations to shaping the future roadmap, you’ll partner closely with Finance, HR and technology teams to deliver seamless, secure and impactful digital experiences. Own the end-to-end performance of key Finance and HR platforms, ensuring smooth running across availability, user experience, and service delivery Keep the scoreboard ticking through effective BAU management, triaging requests, resolving issues, and coordinating with vendors to deliver timely outcomes Drive continuous improvement by delivering system enhancements, refining processes, and introducing smarter ways of working, including automation and AI-led efficiencies Set the game plan for the future by building and executing platform roadmaps, strengthening governance, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver impactful, compliant solutions WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Tertiary qualifications (bachelor’s degree) in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Commerce or equivalent relevant experience. Relevant certifications are desirable (e.g., ITIL, Agile/Scrum, vendor platform certifications, data/integration fundamentals). Strong understanding of core Finance and HR processes and how enterprise systems enable them Demonstrated ownership of BAU operations, including incident management, prioritisation, and continuous service improvement Experience with Workday, Maestro, Cognos, Concur, D365 or similar systems. Experience delivering system enhancements and change using Agile or hybrid methodologies (including UAT, releases, and stakeholder engagement) Ability to manage vendors and partners to drive quality, performance, and outcomes Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, with experience in integrations, reporting/analytics, and emerging technologies such as AI and automation WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
