Job Purpose

This job requires daily monitoring and evaluating of all inventories in VGM fulfillment. Working with a team to count, store, and fill locations with products so that shelves are consistently filled within the facility. Inventory associates are responsible for making sure the product is appropriately stocked on the shelves. This will include doing active replenishments on the scanner regularly, as well as consolidating any extra product on the floor.

Position Details

Working Location: Phoenix, AZ

Working Hours: Semi-full-time, Friday - Sunday, weekend shift (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain all locations in the facility
  • Learn how to navigate company programs like D365
  • Pick location slotting analysis
  • Update item classification
  • Perform scheduled cycle counts
  • Perform inventory adjustments based on calls from the production floor
  • Unpick orders (return items from orders picked on the same day)
  • Run transaction report to track down missing inventory
  • Locate any missing product or misplaced license plates
  • Track and record inventory variance data ensuring it keeps within acceptable contractual variance levels
  • Be available to come in early and stay late as needed to provide adequate support for the business
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with others of varying backgrounds
  • Set a positive example through personal attendance and time management
  • Be willing and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment to support business objectives
  • Demonstrate accurate verbal and written communication skills
  • Work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve business goals and growth opportunities

Key Qualifications

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Previous leadership and/or training knowledge
  • High school education

Physical Requirements

  • Standing and walking throughout the facility
  • Operation of warehouse machinery and equipment
  • Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision
  • Strict adherence to all safety standards

Additional Information

Functions of the Inventory Associate role may include operating a forklift, reach truck, or electric pallet jack. Operation of this equipment is considered safety-sensitive and falls within the parameters of VGM Fulfillment's Drug-free Workplace Policy.
