FINANŠU KONTROLIERIS/-E

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the company's financial, accounting and monthly closing processes in the Latvia structural unit
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports in accordance with Latvian regulatory requirements and group company standards
• Prepare and submit VAT declarations and other reports as defined in regulatory acts
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes
• Collaborate with the Group finance team in preparing monthly reports and conducting financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal control requirements, accounting policies and financial procedures
• Promote improvement of financial and reporting preparation processes
• Work closely with local management and international colleagues

Requirements

• Previous experience in finance, accounting or financial control
• Good knowledge of Latvian VAT regulations and regulatory reporting requirements
• Experience working in an international company or corporate group
• Understanding of monthly closing and group financial reporting processes
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience working with ERP systems; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FO) will be considered an advantage, but willingness and ability to learn this system quickly is important
• Good computer skills
• Valid driving licence
• Excellent knowledge of Latvian language in speech and writing
• Good knowledge of English language in speech and writing (for communication with foreign clients)
