ABOUT THE ROLE We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join Cricket Australia, playing a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of our financial reporting and compliance. In this position, you’ll contribute to the organisation’s success by delivering meaningful financial insights, maintaining strong governance, and helping to continuously improve our processes and systems. You’ll work closely with Finance Business Partners and stakeholders, building trusted relationships and providing support that enables informed decision-making and effective risk management. Other key responsibilities include: Responsible for the delivery and continuous improvement of financial control, reporting, compliance and finance systems within Cricket Australia, with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency and business value Lead month-end close and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting and balance sheet integrity Manage core accounting areas (revenue, payroll, cash flow, accruals, provisions, reconciliations) in line with standards Produce high-quality management reporting with clear insights on performance, risks and opportunities Ensure compliance with statutory obligations (BAS, GST, FBT, payroll tax) and manage audit processes Drive process and system improvements across finance (e.g. D365, Basware, Concur) to enhance efficiency and accuracy WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR As the successful Finance Manager, you will have: Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or related discipline and CA/CPA qualified Strong financial accounting and statutory reporting experience High level attention to detail with strong financial control mindset Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering capability Ability to translate financial data into clear insights and recommendations Continuous improvement mindset with experience driving process efficiencies Systems literacy, with experience in ERP and finance platforms (e.g. D365, Basware, Concur desirable) Sound understanding of tax and regulatory requirements (including FBT, GST) Strong written and verbal communication skills Proactive, solutions-focused approach with ability to operate in a dynamic environment WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
