GFS Chemicals is seeking an ERP Support Specialist to join our RAC Division at our Powell location.

About the Role
The ERP Support Specialist supports the business by responding to ERP support tickets in D365 F&O and related integrated ISVs. The role focuses on troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and delivering effective solutions while ensuring system integrity and best practices. It bridges operations and the ERP team by analyzing needs, resolving tickets, and recommending improvements. The role also contributes to F&O implementation and the ongoing support and evolution of the application.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Support & Analysis
- Respond to and resolve ERP support tickets in D365 F&O and integrated ISVs
- Troubleshoot issues, replicate scenarios, and identify root causes
- Act as a functional and potentially technical subject matter expert for D365 F&O (finance and supply chain) and integrated ISVs
- Analyze business needs and recommend effective solutions
- Conduct business process analysis and translate requirements into functional design documents
Design, Configuration & Enhancements
- Configure D365 F&O in accordance with business needs and Microsoft best practices
- Support small enhancements related to ticket resolution: communicate with external developers and consultants to address gaps and best practices
- Contribute to F&O implementation and system improvements
Testing & Deployment
- Support UAT planning and execution, including test case creation, defect triage, and resolution
- Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and developers on integrations, customizations, and data migrations
Training & Continuous Improvement
- Deliver end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer
- Identify trends and recommend process or system improvements
Governance & Standards
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure changes follow system standards, governance, security, and data requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in related field plus 1–2 years' experience highly preferred
- Preferred Microsoft certifications in Dynamics D365 Finance/Supply Chain
Core Skills
- Willing to learn new functionality, modules, technical and functional skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to summarize and recount resolutions to issues/bugs
- Writing skills for user documentation
- Time management, ability to self-prioritize
- Required: Experience with D365 F&O
- Required: SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Preferred: Sana or any ecommerce platform
- Preferred: Sales tax platform – Avalara, CCH, Vertex
- Preferred: SQL, Power Platform
- Preferred: Experience with associated tools and technologies such as SQL Reporting Services or Microsoft Power Platform
