About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team in a permanent, full-time position.
You'll take ownership of accounts receivable for a portfolio of our care homes and retirement villages, ensuring accurate resident billing, timely collections, and excellent customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing resident billing, invoicing, receipting, and account reconciliations.
- Creating and maintaining accurate resident financial records in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Preparing payment schedules and processing credit notes and refunds.
- Investigating and resolving resident and stakeholder accounts receivable enquiries.
- Monitoring outstanding accounts and supporting debt collection activities.
- Working closely with village, care home and support office teams to ensure billing accuracy.
- Assisting with month-end reporting, reconciliations, and finance administration.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across Accounts Receivable processes.
- Maintaining compliance with Oceania's Health & Safety policies and procedures.
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable, Finance or Credit Control role.
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (highly desirable).
- Experience working within the aged care, retirement living or healthcare sector (desirable).
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working across finance systems.
- A customer-focused mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
