About the Role
This is a revenue-producing, field-based Regional Account Executive – Services role designed to drive service revenue growth in the Portland and Seattle markets. This role is designed to generate measurable pipeline and bookings within the first 90 days.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue net-new service sales opportunities within the Portland and Seattle data center and critical infrastructure markets.
- Develop and expand relationships with facilities managers, operations leaders, and engineering teams.
- Sell maintenance agreements, system upgrades, battery replacements, and value-added service solutions.
- Identify white-space opportunities within existing accounts and convert reactive service work into recurring agreements.
- Develop a target account list of 25–30 Portland-area facilities and execute a territory penetration plan.
- Generate qualified pipeline within 60–90 days of hire.
- Prepare and present proposals, scopes of work, and service agreements.
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
- Maintain accurate CRM reporting and participate in structured deal reviews.
- Represent Zavtek professionally in client meetings and industry settings.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in electrical services, critical power, or industrial equipment.
- Proven experience generating net-new business.
- Experience selling recurring service agreements.
- Knowledge of UPS systems, battery systems, switchgear, or related electrical infrastructure.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (e.g., Dynamics 365).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 40%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with data centers or mission-critical facilities.
- Familiarity with OEM ecosystems (ABB, Mitsubishi, Eaton, Schneider, Vertiv).
- Field service exposure within the critical power industry.
