The Role
The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative and coordination support across warehousing, transport, and distribution activities. The role ensures accurate transactions, documentation, and reporting within AX, supports effective load planning and warehouse operations, and assists the Supply Chain team by maintaining continuity of service during periods of leave, travel, or peak demand.
Reporting to: Customer Supply Manager
Key responsibilities:
- Create and manage transport manifests and delivery paperwork ex 3PL or site
- Transact inbound and outbound stock movements
- Assist with stock take and cycle counts ex 3PL
- Create and process Purchase Orders
- Assist with general transport inquiries including ETAs and PODs
- Monthly reporting on contractor performance
About You
The successful candidate will be strong in written and oral communication skills, results driven and possess the ability to communicate with a diverse group of both internal and external stakeholders. The ability to work independently, high attention to detail and meet tight deadlines, strong PC based computer skills and numeracy will be highly regarded.
Essential experience:
- Previous experience in a supply chain, transport, warehousing, or logistics administration role
- Exposure to ERP systems and transactional processing
- Strong PC based computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel are essential, Dynamics AX is preferable)
Desirable experience:
- Experience working with 3PLs or transport providers
- Relevant certificate, diploma, or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, or business administration
