About the role

Join us as a Software Engineer at vice president level. This is a permanent position in a feature team where you'll be designing, producing, testing and implementing working software across the full lifecycle of the system. You'll hone your existing software engineering skills and advance your career in this critical role.

What you'll do

• Develop knowledge of aspects of the associated platform across the disciplines of business, applications, data and infrastructure
• Liaise with principal engineers, architects in the domain and other key stakeholders to understand how the platform works and how it supports business objectives
• Apply Agile methods to the development of software on the backlog
• Produce resilient and long-lived software and act flexibly to cope with future needs
• Deliver intentional architecture and formulate emergent design through innovative ideas, experimentation and prototyping
• Design and develop software with a focus on the automation of build, test and deployment activities, using executable patterns

Skills and experience required

• At least thirteen years of total experience
• At least ten years of hands-on expertise in Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CRM development
• Strong full stack experience in software design and implementation, including ability to exploit programming languages to solve complex problems
• Strong foundation in application design, enterprise architecture, and delivery leadership
• Experience building scalable solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse
• Proficiency in C# (.NET) for backend plugins
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end customization
• Experience integrating Power BI insights and exploring AI-driven capabilities such as Copilot Studio
• Experience leading large technical teams in Agile environments
• Ability to manage end-to-end delivery from requirement analysis through deployment
• Experience implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability and performance
• Strong collaboration skills with ability to work with business teams to produce pragmatic solutions
• Experience of information security policies and practices within the financial sector
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a simple way
• Ability to drive solution excellence by collaborating with stakeholders, presenting designs in architecture forums, and ensuring robust ALM, environment strategy, and Azure-based integrations via APIs
• Strong focus on leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Ability to challenge and enhance existing processes
