Shipping & Receiving Clerk

About the Role

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for all assigned duties by the Shipping & Receiving Manager. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk shall assist in shipping and receiving of all OCTG, HDD and Mud Motor products.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all appropriate paperwork for all freight shipments
  • Review all Sales Orders to ensure that shipping requirements can be met
  • Communicate with Process & Finishing Department to ensure timely deliveries
  • Notify sales when orders are ready and dispatch trucks, when necessary
  • Prepare load tickets and final shippers
  • Post all shipments against appropriate work orders and forward paperwork to appropriate individuals
  • Handle all Shipping & Receiving telephone calls and greet all walk-ins into Shipping Department
  • Maintain accurate records on all shipments and deliveries
  • Backup as needed for Receptionist job duties
  • Assist in all audits of Hunting inventory and equipment
  • Maintain clean and organized work area
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

Required Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • 3 – 5 years of Shipping & Receiving or clerical experience or training
  • Fluent in D365 a plus
  • Highly detailed and precision oriented
  • Able to multitask
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving and organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Promotes and maintains company goodwill in all business contacts
