Senior Microsoft Business Applications Architect
CapgeminiAbout the role
As a Senior Microsoft Business Applications Architect, you are the technical authority shaping how global clients modernize their customer and operational experiences. You bridge strategy and execution — guiding delivery teams, influencing client stakeholders, and contributing to bids and internal capability growth. Your architectural decisions define the quality, scalability, and long-term viability of some of Capgemini's most complex Microsoft engagements.
Your project
Capgemini's Digital Customer Experience (DCX) practice delivers intelligent, human-centered solutions for global enterprises and public sector organizations. You'll work in empowered Agile teams, owning the end-to-end lifecycle of business applications — from architecture to deployment — in a culture built on feedback and continuous learning.
Your tasks
- Define and own end-to-end solution architecture across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure for enterprise client engagements
- Lead architecture workshops and technical discovery sessions with client stakeholders across industries including manufacturing, retail, transport, and energy
- Support and contribute to pre-sales bids — producing solution designs, effort estimates, and technical proposals
- Guide and mentor mid and senior engineers and consultants within delivery teams, ensuring architectural standards are met
- Drive the adoption of AI-first design patterns — Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Azure OpenAI — into client solutions
- Collaborate with Functional Consultants and Delivery Leads to balance business fit, technical feasibility, and long-term maintainability
- Contribute to Capgemini's Microsoft practice growth through reusable assets, internal enablement, and thought leadership
Your profile
- 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Business Applications, including 2–3 years in an architecture or technical lead role
- Deep expertise in Dynamics 365 (Contact Center/Sales/Service/Field Service) and Power Platform (Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Pages)
- Solid understanding of Azure Integration services (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, APIM) with intermediate/advanced knowledge being a strong differentiator
- Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures balancing configuration, customization, and AI-driven automation
- Hands-on experience with ALM for Microsoft Business Applications — solution segmentation, environment strategies, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Experienced in pre-sales and bid contexts — translating ambiguous client needs into credible, well-scoped technical proposals
- Strong communicator who can influence and align stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to C-suite
- Comfortable operating across multiple concurrent engagements and shifting priorities without losing quality or clarity
