Senior Executive – Finance & Accounts

Designation: Senior Executive – Finance & Accounts

Department: Finance

Reporting To: General Manager – Finance

Role Objective

To support finance operations by ensuring accurate accounting, timely reconciliations, statutory compliance, audit readiness, payroll processing support, and assistance in financial statements and MIS reporting across a multi store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and posting of Journal Entries, Invoices, and Payment Entries across AP, AR, FA, GL, and Bank modules in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365 – Finance & Operations)
  • Ensuring accurate accounting, proper documentation, and compliance with internal SOPs and accounting policies
  • Preparation and reconciliation of Sales vs Collections across stores, payment gateways, and bank receipts
  • Preparation and review of Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and timely resolution of reconciling items
  • Accounting and reconciliation of Inter-unit / Branch transactions and balance confirmations
  • Preparation of audit deliverables and coordination with statutory, internal, and tax auditors
  • Assisting in preparation of Financial Statements, schedules, and supporting workings
  • Handling Related Party accounting and assisting in preparation of Related Party Disclosures as per applicable standards
  • Ensuring statutory compliance including GST, TDS, and other applicable indirect and direct tax requirements
  • Assisting in payroll processing, payroll accounting entries, reconciliations, and coordination with HR/payroll vendors
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities including provisions, accruals, and adjustments
  • Assisting in MIS reporting, variance analysis, and management dashboards with accurate and timely data

Qualifications

  • CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) / B Com / M Com – Preferred

Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience in accounting / finance operations
  • Exposure to retail or multi-branch environment preferred
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage

Key Skills

  • Strong accounting and reconciliation skills
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
  • Payroll processing and accounting exposure
  • Audit coordination experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
