This is why you want to join us as Record to Report Specialist at Enza Zaden Be part of an international, purpose-driven company contributing to sustainable food production Join a collaborative Finance team with room for professional growth and development Play a key role in ensuring high-quality financial reporting and maintaining a strong “in control” environment Make a difference as Record to Report Specialist Process journal entries, allocations, and intercompany transactions Perform balance sheet reconciliations and support period-end closing activities Support intercompany accounting and contribute to consolidation processes Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations Take responsibility for period-end close processes, including management adjustments Support internal control testing and provide support during internal and external audits Prepare (group) financial statements in line with statutory and group accounting standards Manage and reconcile fixed assets, including asset creation and movements Support cost center and general ledger reviews, including analysis of trial balances and financial statements Contribute to a strong control environment by: Maintaining and improving administrative procedures Implementation, updating and maintenance of internal control frameworks. You will report to the Regional Finance Manager and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as finance specialists and purchase to pay specialists. You will also interact with external auditors on relevant topics. What you bring as a future colleague Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience; Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger processes; Experience with Record-to-Report processes and awareness of related end-to-end finance cycles (e.g. Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay); Experience with ERP systems (e.g. D365) and strong Excel skills; Knowledge of statutory reporting and group accounting principles (preferred); Experience supporting audits and working with internal control frameworks; Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a structured way of working; Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities; Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate with multiple departments, also outside Malaysia; Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal; You recognize yourself in the following You are detail-oriented, proactive, and structured in your way of working.
