Hunting, Dearborn Division is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our dynamic scheduling team. The scheduler works collaboratively with production supervisors to execute the production plan on a weekly basis, ensuring supervisors have enough work to load their machine resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a solid understanding of specific software including but not limited

to: Lilly Works and Protected Flow Manufacturing (PFM) Theory of Operation

  • Understanding the terminology and functionality of PFM and D365 and how they

interact

  • Provide critical data to support the Dearborn Planning Methodology
  • Perform labor adjustments in D365 and assist in training new employees with

the program

  • Dispatch operations by department and machines
  • Complete daily and weekly tasks list that support the accuracy of the

schedule

  • Lead weekly through put meeting
  • Understand how the ship list is created and how to incorporate any expedites

needed into the department dispatches

  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2- 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Training in throughput or theory of constraints is preferred
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and the flow of production
  • Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and collaboratively
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams comprised of members within and

outside of the organization

The employee is required to occasionally use hands to handle tools and inspect parts and equipment. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push material carts.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS

  • Monday to Friday, day schedule, 8 or more hours per day.
  • Pristine, climate-controlled facility, equipped with state-of-the-art

machinery and equipment.
