Power Platform Senior Functional Consultant

Salary: From £57,800 plus Bonus and benefits

Contract type: Permanent

Shift pattern: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week

Location: Hybrid / Manchester, Leeds, Staines, Brighton, London office based – 2/3 days in Bupa office per week

Role Overview

This role covers a wide range of technology focused jobs within Clinics BGIUK Technology working within the Microsoft Power Platform and CRM Dynamics. The job purpose may include all or some of the following aspects:

  • Participate in or undertake the technical analysis, specification, estimation, design, development, implementation and support of Low Code / No Code solutions, working with business users, third parties, and other IT colleagues, as appropriate

Key Responsibilities

  • Give application or technology specific guidance to business analysts, architects and designers to achieve the best overall solutions
  • Act as a sign-off authority for application solution designs
  • Take ownership for resolving all IT related problems within your domain, which directly or indirectly impact on the operational services or development
  • Manage 3rd party supplier resources in a matrix environment (e.g. tech lead, scrum master)
  • Establish and maintain credibility and working relationships with other IT teams, being an ambassador for IT within the business community, supporting a customer service culture
  • Act as a technical mentor to technicians and citizen developers within or outside of the Technology function

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in a digital web product delivery role
  • Ability to translate business goals into technology solutions
  • Experience of working in a matrix managed environment, with mixed teams including contractors and outsourced vendors
  • Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics platform including D365/O365
  • Proactive in identifying and resolving potential issues, and escalate appropriately
  • Test Script and Documentation skills
  • Deep understanding of out-of-the-box features and solution components of Power Platform
  • Ability to balance Business Unit needs, BGIUK IT strategic goals and project demands accordingly
