Performance Test Engineer – Azure Load Testing / JMeter

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute performance test strategies, plans, and scripts.
- Design workload models and performance scenarios for enterprise applications.
- Create and maintain performance scripts using Azure Load Testing, Apache JMeter, Stress Stimulus (where applicable)
- Execute load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing.
- Monitor application, API, database, and infrastructure performance metrics.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering teams for optimization.
- Prepare detailed performance test reports with analysis, observations, and recommendations.
- Integrate performance execution into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
- Support capacity planning and performance governance initiatives.
- Log and track performance defects/issues in Azure DevOps.
- Participate in release readiness and production risk assessments.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 6 to 8 years in performance testing
- Strong experience in Performance Engineering, Load & Stress Testing, Scalability Testing, Performance Analysis & Tuning
- Experience working with enterprise-scale applications.
- Hands-on expertise in Azure Load Testing, Apache JMeter, Performance monitoring tools, Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Understanding of API, Middleware, and distributed system performance.
- Expertise in Web technologies, REST APIs, SQL queries and database performance, Cloud performance testing concepts
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Good communication and stakeholder reporting skills.
- Ability to work in complex enterprise delivery environments.
- Experience in D365 ecosystem performance testing.
- Experience in cloud-native performance testing on Azure.
- Exposure to AI-enabled applications and Copilot ecosystem.
Qualifications
Education: BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT), MCA, MBA (IT), MSc(IT)
Experience: 6 - 8 years
