About Telestream

Telestream is a leading provider of digital media tools and software solutions for the broadcast, streaming, and media industries. We empower content creators and distributors to produce and deliver high-quality video content while optimizing operations and maximizing revenue. Our teams work diligently to innovate and support world-class services, and we are looking for an Order Management Team Lead to join our Accounting team.

The Opportunity

Telestream builds the software and hardware that broadcast networks, streaming services, sports leagues, post-production studios, government agencies, and enterprise media teams rely on to create, monitor, and distribute video at scale. Our portfolio spans three solution areas: workflow automation software (delivered on-premise and in the cloud), quality and compliance monitoring solutions, and professional desktop tools used by editors, captioners, and creators.

Customers buy from us in every imaginable combination: a perpetual software license, a multi-year SaaS subscription, a single hardware appliance, a renewal, an add-on, or a bundled solution that combines all of the above. Many deals are global, multi-currency, multi-shipping-location, and run through either direct sales or our channel partners. That order mix is what makes this seat interesting, and it is also why this role matters.

As our Order Management Team Lead, you are the senior expert in our order-to-cash engine room. You will personally own the most complex transactions, set the standards the team works to, and serve as the go-to resource for our two US-based Order Entry Specialists and our accounting partner in the UK.

This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct reports. You will, however, function as the team's day-to-day lead: coaching peers, owning the toughest escalations, and partnering with the Corporate Controller to keep the function running cleanly across two regions and multiple product types.

A Day in the Life

You will start your morning in the order queue, prioritizing deals tied to month-end timing, urgent customer requests, and high-value transactions. You will clean up incomplete orders with sales reps and deal desk, then enter and release the ones that are ready in Business Central. Throughout the day you will partner with our Licensing Specialist to confirm software entitlements line up with what customers actually bought, work with supply chain to release hardware shipments from our US locations, and serve as the senior point of contact when something does not look right. You will check in with the team in the US and UK, answer their harder questions, and at month-end and quarter-end you will shift into close mode, supporting bookings reconciliation and inventory adjustments alongside the Controller.

What You Will Do

  • Own end-to-end processing of our most complex, high-value, and escalated customer orders, including multi-product bundles, multi-year subscriptions, channel partner deals, and global ship-to arrangements.
  • Enter, validate, and release customer orders in Business Central, checking pricing, payment terms, product configurations, discount approvals, and bookings rules against the signed quote and any approval documentation on file.
  • Process the full mix of Telestream orders: perpetual software licenses, SaaS and term subscriptions, hardware appliances, professional desktop tools, renewals, add-ons, and bundled solutions that combine more than one of these.
  • Coordinate every software order with our Licensing Specialist so customers receive the right product activation, license keys, and entitlement details on the correct timeline.
  • Work with supply chain and production teams to release hardware shipments from our US and UK locations, confirm inventory allocation, capture serial numbers, and follow shipments through to delivery.
  • Serve as the team's senior point of expertise for order discrepancies, exception handling, and customer-specific requirements; when a customer flags a missed entitlement, a sales rep questions how an order was booked, or finance needs a transaction researched, the answer routes to you.
  • Provide lead-level guidance, training, and quality coaching to our two US-based Order Entry and Inventory Specialists and our accounting team member in the UK, without formal supervisory authority.
  • Establish, document, and continuously refine standard operating procedures for order entry, order processing, and inventory management so the team's work is consistent across regions and product types.
  • Partner with sales reps and deal desk to clean up incomplete order forms, validate deal terms, and confirm orders reflect the approved pricing and configuration.
  • Maintain inventory records and transactions in Business Central, ensuring accuracy across software, hardware, and bundled orders.
  • Monitor order processing metrics, turnaround times, and error rates on a weekly basis, and surface trends and improvement opportunities to the Corporate Controller.
  • Step into close-mode rhythm at month-end and quarter-end, supporting bookings reconciliation, late-order cutoffs, and inventory adjustments alongside finance leadership.
  • Provide documentation, transaction trails, and reporting in support of internal audits, external audits, and customer-facing compliance reviews.
  • Protect the confidentiality of customer, pricing, and organizational information at all times.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in order administration, order management, inventory management, or a related operational function.
  • OR a combination of education and related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a senior or lead-level contributor on an order administration team, including informal coaching, training, or quality oversight.
  • Strong knowledge of order-to-cash processes, order entry workflows, and inventory management principles.
  • Experience handling multiple product types (perpetual licenses, subscriptions, hardware, and bundled solutions).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Business Central or similar) for order processing and inventory management.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a proven track record of identifying and resolving order discrepancies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across sales, finance, licensing, and supply chain teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and the discipline to manage competing priorities against recurring deadlines.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience supporting a multinational organization with global order processing requirements.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms as part of the order management workflow.
  • Experience with software licensing and entitlement management processes.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake or similar data platforms for order and inventory reporting.
  • A background in the technology or media industry.
