About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent National Procurement Manager position reporting to the Repairs and Maintenance Manager. You'll oversee procurement and inventory activity to ensure stock levels meet business needs, wastage is minimised, and suppliers continue to deliver competitive products, service levels, quality, and warranty terms. You'll lead a small team and work closely with operations, fleet, production, branch, and supplier stakeholders to support consistent, efficient processes nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead purchasing, stores, and stock management processes across the business.
  • Manage inventory records, pricing, supplier information, part descriptions, images, and system updates in D365.
  • Oversee stocktake activity, warehouse transfers, warranty processes, spare parts availability, and min/max stock levels across locations.
  • Work closely with operations, fleet, production, and branch teams to support projects, procedures, pricing, and operational requirements.
  • Create and maintain parts and spare parts lists, ensuring parts and materials are ordered and delivered on time to avoid disruption to operations.
  • Review supplier agreements, monitor spend and supply, identify alternative suppliers, and ensure secondary suppliers are in place for key items.
  • Run and review regular inventory and procurement reports, identifying areas requiring attention and opportunities to improve reporting capability.
  • Lead, train, coach, and motivate the stores team and branch users to support accurate processes and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Procurement, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, parts, or stock management experience, ideally within the campervan, automotive, rental, or similar operational environment.
  • Previous leadership experience, with the ability to support, train, and develop a team.
  • Strong computer and systems skills, with the ability to quickly learn and work confidently in internal systems such as D365.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, planning, organisation, and project management skills.
  • A calm, positive, and flexible approach, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • A proven track record of delivering results and improving processes.
  • A relevant Certificate, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent experience would be advantageous.
