Manager of Sales Support

Quantum is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Manager of Sales Support to lead and scale our order-to-cash support function within our growing Guadalajara office. This role plays a critical part in enabling a high-performing global sales organization by ensuring operational excellence, process efficiency, and a superior customer experience.

This leader will oversee end-to-end order management processes, drive continuous improvement, and partner cross-functionally with sales, finance, and customer operations to support revenue execution and business growth.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing order management team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Establish clear performance metrics, monitor productivity, and drive service excellence.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members.

Order Management & Operational Excellence

  • Oversee the accurate and timely processing, validation, and booking of global sales orders.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, pricing policies, and revenue recognition requirements.
  • Identify process gaps and implement scalable improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Sales Support & Deal Enablement

  • Partner with sales to support deal structuring, pricing, and proposal development.
  • Ensure timely and consistent quote generation aligned with company guidelines.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex order issues and customer inquiries.

Reporting & Business Insights

  • Monitor order pipeline, backlog, shipments, billing, and delivery performance.
  • Deliver actionable reporting and insights to sales and leadership teams.
  • Use data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with finance, logistics, IT, and customer support to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive alignment across systems and processes (e.g., ERP, CRM tools).

Customer Experience

  • Champion a customer-first mindset, ensuring timely resolution of order issues and proactive communication.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in order management, sales operations, or a related function.
  • Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.

Functional Expertise

  • Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes, pricing, quoting, and revenue operations.
  • Experience supporting complex, technical product or solution environments (technology industry preferred).

Systems & Tools

  • Proficiency with ERP/CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle ERP, Salesforce).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (English required, written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused with strong business acumen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data storage, backup, archival, or related technologies.
  • Familiarity with global sales operations and international order processing.

Work Environment & Expectations

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines, including peak periods (e.g., quarter-end).
  • Flexibility to work in-office in Guadalajara as needed in a hybrid environment.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a global team.
