Position Summary

The Maintenance Coordinator under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, supports daily maintenance operations through preventive maintenance activities, work order coordination, and maintenance system administration within D365. This role splits time between hands-on preventive maintenance support on the production floor and coordinating maintenance work orders, schedules, and records within D365.

The Maintenance Coordinator works closely with maintenance and production teams to support maintenance activities, communicate priorities, maintain accurate system data, and assist with inventory and parts organization. Essential functions include completing routine preventive maintenance tasks, updating and maintaining work orders within D365, supporting maintenance scheduling activities, and maintaining accurate maintenance documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordinating daily maintenance activities and work order scheduling based on department priorities.
  • Communicate with maintenance and production teams regarding maintenance schedules, work order updates, and equipment downtime.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance activities alongside the maintenance team.
  • Assist maintenance technicians with basic maintenance support tasks.
  • Update, maintain, and close work orders within D365 accurately and timely.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment information, and PM documentation within D365.
  • Support maintenance inventory organization and assist with tracking parts and materials needed for scheduled work.
  • Receive, label, organize, and store maintenance materials and parts.
  • Maintain organized maintenance files and documentation.
  • Follow company safety procedures and utilize required personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Complete assigned work accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience using an ERP, CMMS, or comparable work order management system.
  • Ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize D365.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform preventive maintenance activities.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Previous preventive maintenance or maintenance support experience.
  • Experience supporting maintenance scheduling or work order coordination activities.

Physical and Work Environment

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout the facility.
  • Occasional bending, twisting, reaching, and repetitive movement.
  • Use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety shoes.
  • Work performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, temperature variation, and industrial conditions.
  • Overtime or occasional call-ins may be required based on business needs.

Shift and Location

  • Shift: 1st shift, 7:00am–3:30pm (8-hour shift)
  • Work Location: In person. Company does not provide relocation assistance.
  • Pay Range: $24.00–$30.00
