
IT Support Technician

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for both onsite and remote users. This role is responsible for responding to support requests, preparing and deploying workstations and mobile devices, and ensuring end users receive timely, professional technical assistance. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced support environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk support via in-person, phone and email, escalating issues as needed
- Set up and support user workspaces, including computers, phones, and peripherals
- Configure, stage, deploy, and support end-user devices, including laptops, desktops, IP phones, and mobile devices
- Maintain accurate documentation and IT asset records
- Manage IT inventory, including receiving, staging, deploying, and processing equipment returns
- Assist with deployment of network and other IT equipment
- Provide end-user training and basic technical guidance
Requirements
- Experience providing office IT support and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting remote users
- High School diploma/GED, required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally via phone and email
- Excellent customer service mindset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Strong desire to learn new technologies and skills
- Ability to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must be able to meet company's employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, background check, and MVR, if driving for the company
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central
- Server and network experience
- Structured cabling experience
Physical Requirements
- Occasional lifting/carrying of 10 pounds
- Visual acuity, speech and hearing
- Hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment
- Ability to sit, stand, reach, walk, twist, and kneel to perform essential functions
- Primarily working inside an office environment with prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
