
Finance Manager (6-Month Max Term Contract)

Levande is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our Sydney-based Finance team on a six-month full-time maximum term contract. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the Village Accounting function, driving technical accounting excellence, strengthening financial governance and improving reporting processes across the business. This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior finance leaders, operational stakeholders, auditors and investors, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager, Senior Finance Manager or Financial Controller looking to contribute to meaningful transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. What You'll Be Doing Providing technical accounting leadership across complex accounting and reporting matters Preparing and reviewing technical accounting papers, policies and procedures Supporting month-end, consolidation and statutory reporting processes Leading the resolution of legacy reconciliations and reporting issues Driving finance automation, process improvement and documentation initiatives Partnering with Finance, Operations and Digital & Technology teams to improve reporting outcomes Managing stakeholder relationships across the business, including auditors and investors Leading and supporting a team of finance professionals What You'll Bring CA or CPA qualification Extensive experience in financial accounting, financial reporting and month-end close processes Strong technical accounting knowledge, including Australian Accounting Standards and corporate reporting requirements Proven experience preparing or reviewing technical accounting papers and accounting policies Demonstrated leadership experience, including developing and mentoring finance team members Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build credibility across all levels of the business Advanced Excel skills and experience working with medium to large ERP systems (D365 experience highly regarded) A continuous improvement mindset with experience driving automation, process improvement and financial governance initiatives Experience within property, retirement living, infrastructure or similarly complex environments will be highly regarded Why Levande?
