Role Overview
Annalect India is seeking a Specialist (Data Analytics-Alteryx) with strong accounting and analytical skills to help support the business finance teams that continues to deliver strong financial performance. This might be a great fit if you have a strong flair of analytical and accounting skills and would like to be part of a growing team. You will be closely working with our Global Agency Finance teams.
Responsibilities
Technical Data Analysis and Data Modelling:
- Perform comprehensive data analysis, including trend identification, statistical analysis, and predictive modelling
- Utilize Alteryx server to schedule, monitor, and manage workflow execution
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and workflows
- Document data processes and workflows for knowledge sharing
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data models that support business intelligence and reporting needs
- Reverse engineer solutions that may not be documented and clearly document your work
- Demonstrate expert-level Alteryx skills for data preparation, automation, and transforming complex datasets into actionable insights
- Build analytical apps, macros, and process re-engineering using Alteryx
Risk Management:
- Identify, communicate, and manage project risks within and across teams
- Escalate risks as needed and lead efforts to mitigate them
- Manage expectations
- Demonstrate proficiency in unit, integration, and performance testing regarding programs, automation, and engineering project life cycles
Communication:
- Communicate with both the team and management regarding the status of current project initiatives
- Communicate with project lead regarding project health, status, and risks
- Work closely with team members on collaborative initiatives, both on individual projects and on team-wide projects
- Present and propose your own solutions and ideas with strong communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or relevant field with 7–9 years of experience in accounting operations
- Minimum 5 years of expert-level proficiency with Alteryx for data blending, transformation, and workflow automation
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new accounting software
- Advanced Excel skills including knowledge of pivot tables, V-lookups, and conditional formulas
- Good analytical ability and logical reasoning
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of Alteryx Designer, Server, and tools (predictive, parsing, transforms)
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data integration tools
- Knowledge of Python and API usage is a plus but not required
