About the Role

SES requires a dedicated digital marketing professional to execute the company’s digital marketing initiatives — email, social, web content, SEO, marketing automation, and digital campaign execution — in support of customer engagement, lead generation, and revenue growth. The role exists to give SES daily digital marketing capability and ownership without requiring backend eCommerce administration or advanced IT responsibility.

The Digital Marketing Specialist is a hands-on contributor reporting to the Manager, Marketing. The role pairs creative execution with analytical discipline — building campaigns, monitoring performance, and improving customer engagement through data — while supporting SES’s ongoing transition to a more digital-first customer experience.

What You’ll Do

Section I — Digital Campaign Execution (≈35% of role)

  • Execute email marketing campaigns, promotions, and weekly digital flyer communications
  • Build, schedule, and optimize campaigns in HubSpot
  • Coordinate digital marketing calendars aligned with vendor promotions and company initiatives
  • Ensure campaigns are launched accurately and on schedule
  • Maintain brand consistency in messaging across digital channels

Section II — Social Media, Content & Lead Generation (≈30% of role)

  • Manage SES social media channels — LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms as adopted
  • Create and schedule digital content for promotions, events, and brand awareness
  • Support CRM lead capture, customer segmentation, and marketing automation workflows
  • Support customer nurturing campaigns and MQL generation initiatives
  • Collaborate with sales and vendors on co-marketing initiatives and promotions

Section III — Analytics, SEO & Performance (≈25% of role)

  • Monitor campaign performance using Google Analytics and platform-native reporting tools
  • Track KPIs: open rates, click-through rates, engagement, MQL contribution, conversion
  • Support SEO initiatives — keyword research, website content optimization, landing page improvements
  • Identify opportunities to improve digital engagement and campaign performance based on data
  • Build and maintain marketing dashboards for Marketing Manager and Director, Sales & Marketing review

Section IV — Data, Tools & Stewardship (≈10% of role)

  • Maintain CRM data quality — contact accuracy, segmentation hygiene, list management
  • Coordinate digital assets and content with graphic design and marketing leadership
  • Stay informed on digital marketing trends and emerging technologies
  • Support marketing platform adoption (HubSpot, Google Analytics, D365 Marketing as relevant)

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing coordination, or related field
  • Hands-on email marketing and marketing automation experience (HubSpot preferred)
  • Business social media management experience — LinkedIn and Facebook minimum
  • Working knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, business, or related fieldpreferred

Preferred:

  • B2B marketing experience
  • CRM platform experience (HubSpot, D365, Salesforce)
  • Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or comparable design tools
  • Familiarity with website content management systems or eCommerce platforms
  • Google Ads or paid social campaign experience
  • Experience in distribution, supply chain, or specialty B2B sectors

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and standard software suite(s), such as the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, and the Microsoft Suite of products.
