About the Role
You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality data and reporting solutions that support both strategic and operational decision-making across the organisation. Reporting to the Business Intelligence Team Leader, you will own solution design, engage stakeholders, and shape governance across Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI reporting solutions that deliver trusted, actionable insights for operational teams and senior stakeholders
- Develop and optimise datasets to ensure performance, usability, and scalability
- Write and refine SQL queries to support data sourcing, transformation, and validation
- Investigate and resolve data quality, refresh, and performance issues across reports, semantic models, and Fabric pipelines
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business, translating requirements into intuitive dashboards and analytical outputs
- Promote the value of high-quality KPIs as key drivers of performance
- Support and enhance the organisation's Power BI self-service capability, providing guidance and troubleshooting within established governance frameworks
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Fabric data pipelines to enable certified, reusable datasets
- Contribute to governance activities such as documentation and access management
- Provide day-to-day support across BI solutions, managing enhancements, resolving user queries, and ensuring smooth operation
- Stay up to date with developments across Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and capability
- Deliver training and share knowledge with colleagues
- Collaborate with data engineering, ERP, and wider IT teams on cross-platform initiatives
- Adhere to ITIL Change Management processes to ensure changes are robust, well-documented, and safely deployed
The Person
We're looking for someone who brings a genuine passion for data and analytics, paired with a strong eye for visual storytelling and usability. You'll be detail-oriented, committed to quality, and motivated to continually improve. With the ability to manage competing priorities and perform under pressure, you'll take a proactive, team-first approach and bring a positive, professional mindset to everything you do. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll be comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences. A relevant bachelor's degree is highly desirable.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years' experience in a BI, data analyst, or report developer role using Microsoft BI technologies
- Strong experience translating business requirements into effective reporting solutions
- Proven ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and data issues
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Advanced expertise in Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, transformation, and visualisation
- Strong T-SQL skills for querying, transformation, and optimisation
- Experience with SSRS or paginated reporting solutions
- Experience retrieving and integrating data via APIs

About ALPINE RACING LIMITED
BWT Alpine Formula One Team competes in the FIA Formula One World Championship with Grand Prix winner Pierre Gasly and rising star Franco Colapinto. The two drivers, under the leadership of Executive Advisor Flavio Briatore and Managing Director Steve Nielsen, pilot the revolutionary Alpine A526.
The team operates out of its Enstone factory in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom, where it has been based since 1992, in its previous guises as Benetton Formula, Renault F1 Team and Lotus F1 Team. Enstone has a winning legacy with seven Formula One World Championships:
- Drivers' World Championship: 1994, 1995, 2005, 2006 (Michael Schumacher and Fernando Alonso)
- Constructors' World Championship: 1995, 2005, 2006
The team's 1000-strong workforce is designing and building the 2026 car, the A526, on-site, working towards the new opportunities presented in the 24-race season.
