Automation Test Engineer – Playwright / Power Apps

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Dynamics 365, Middleware applications, Microsoft web applications, API and UI automation scenarios
- Build and enhance automation frameworks using Playwright (.NET/Node.js)
- Execute automated test suites through Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Identify automation candidates and maintain automation backlog aligned to project priorities
- Improve automation stability, reduce flaky tests, and optimize execution efficiency
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and reporting dashboards
- Collaborate with development and functional teams to improve testability and automation coverage
- Maintain automation source code repositories and reusable libraries
- Perform automation code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and quality gates
- Generate automation execution reports, coverage metrics, and trend analysis
- Support AI-assisted test generation and GitHub Copilot for Testing initiatives where applicable
Required Skills & Experience
- 6 to 8 years of experience in automation testing
- Strong hands-on experience in Playwright Automation, UI and API automation, Test framework development, Regression automation
- Experience in automation strategy and scalable framework implementation
- Expertise in Playwright (.NET or Node.js), Azure DevOps (ADO), Azure Pipelines, Git/GitHub, EasyRepro (preferred), Power Apps Test Studio (preferred)
- Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong coding experience in JavaScript / TypeScript, C#, .NET ecosystem (preferred)
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Good stakeholder communication and reporting skills
- Experience with GitHub Copilot for Testing or AI-assisted automation
- Exposure to D365 CE/F&O automation
- Knowledge of accessibility automation and API testing frameworks
Qualifications
Educational qualification: BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT), MCA, MBA (IT), MSc(IT)
Experience: 6 - 8 years
