Application Manager MES

As Application Manager MES you are the owner of the Tulip platform within our production environment. Working from Coevorden in a local team, you contribute to an international IT landscape focused on smart manufacturing. You are responsible for technical management, further development and integration with ERP and shop-floor systems.
Through your work you prepare our factory floor for the future. By implementing and developing Tulip MES, you automate production processes, improve real-time data streams and strengthen collaboration between systems, machines and people. You deliver a direct contribution to Digital Tomorrow projects, where standardisation, scalability and reliability are central.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor Tulip and other MES components
- Translate functional production requirements into technical Tulip solutions
- Coordinate updates, releases and new applications
- Monitor integrations with Dynamics 365, machines and shop-floor systems
- Support users and resolve complex MES incidents
Requirements
Education and knowledge:
- HBO qualification in IT, Industrial Automation or comparable field
- Knowledge of MES concepts and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of IoT, shop-floor connectivity and data
- Experience with or strong interest in the Tulip platform
- Familiarity with ERP-MES integrations
- Knowledge of SQL, APIs and low-code/no-code platforms is a plus
Skills and attributes:
- Structured working style, thinking in processes
- Comfortable in a production environment
- Ability to communicate easily between operators, engineers and IT colleagues
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and process optimisation

- Salary between €4,129 and €5,679 based on 40 hours per week
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre
- Pension accrual according to PME collective labour agreement
