Make a difference as Account Payable Specialist Process invoices in an accurate and efficient manner while adhering to company policies. Process invoices through both workflow systems and financial applications. Perform matching invoices to purchase orders and verify the correctness of the invoices on the system prior to posting the document. Validate invoice completeness, tax correctness, and mandatory data Resolve invoice discrepancies (e.g. price differences, missing receipts, incorrect coding) Create payment proposals and ensure payment is released within specified timelines Handle supplier inquiries regarding invoice status and payments and Maintain accurate and professional communication with external suppliers Ensure proper documentation, audit trail, and segregation of duties Align with various departments/ colleagues on the approval of invoices for payment (or resolution of blockages) and maintain records for account payables. Maintain vendors master data and check and verify supplier documentation to be compliant for the country legal tax requirements. Process Travel & Expense reimbursements in accordance with internal control standards, policies and procedures. Identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities in AP processes You report to the Regional Finance Manager and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders. You will also have exposure to external parties including suppliers, tax authorities, government institutions, and legal advisors. What you bring as a future colleague Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field, with 3 to 5 years of experience; Experience in Accounts Payable or transactional finance (international environment is a plus) and high level knowledge of relevant functional areas (i.e. Order-to-Cash and Record-to-Report); Experience with ERP/P2P systems (e.g. D365, Medius), Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook; Ability to resolve queries and disputes independently; Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working; Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal. You are detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently and are comfortable engaging with international colleagues in a remote working environment.
