About the Role
We are seeking a highly technical Legal Operations Specialist to serve as the primary liaison between the Legal, IT, and business teams. This role will drive the optimization, integration, and ongoing management of legal technology platforms, contract lifecycle management systems, corporate governance tools, and emerging AI solutions.
The ideal candidate combines legal operations expertise with strong technology and systems integration experience. This individual will help scale legal operations through technology, process improvement, and strategic system design.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technology lead for the Legal Department.
- Administer, enhance and review compliance for platforms including Ironclad, CSC, Legal Tracker, DocuSign and other legal operations technologies.
- Design, implement and maintain templates, renewals, entities, playbook and AI functions in Ironclad.
- Integrate legal technology platforms with other business software, including Claude, Ramp, Business Central, Workday, Carta.
- Lead, update, analyze and leverage business intelligence, insights, data and reporting projects for the Legal Department.
- Identify further opportunities to automate and continuously improve legal workflows, approvals, reporting, and documentation.
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and security across legal technology ecosystems.
- Lead legal process improvement, efficiency, optimization and transformation of in-house functions through technology and drive adoption throughout the organization.
- Manage legal entity structures, registrations, annual filings, and corporate governance documentation.
- Provide new legal technology functional training across the organization.
- Build and maintain dashboards, provide solutions to track and improve KPIs and other metrics, report out to management.
- Manage and assist with risk and compliance, procurement, litigation holds and discovery or subpoena responses, and other legal department matters as needed.
- Support legal budgeting, spend tracking, financial reporting, and forecasting.
- Translate legal requirements into technical solutions into business value and complexity into clear and concise solutions.
- Collaborate with the Chief Legal Officer, Assistant GC, IT, executive team and cross-functional teams to identify and predict legal risks, proposing new solutions and processes that align with the company's overall mission and growth trajectory and drive operational excellence and efficiency, blending legal technology expertise with business acumen.
Minimum Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Legal Operations, Legal Technology, Legal Systems Administration, Business Systems Analysis, or related roles.
- BS/BA required, JD/MBA preferred.
- Hands-on experience with legal technology platforms including Ironclad, Legal Tracker, CSC, and comparable contract, legal entity, and matter management solutions.
- API Integration experience with Power BI, Fabric, Dynamics, Claude/Anthropic.
- Experience managing software implementations, integrations, process design and technology projects.
- Strong understanding of enterprise system administration, databases and data management, workflow automation and regulatory compliance.
- Highly analytical, with sharp attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal clients and other stakeholders.

Preferred Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a growing legal department or working with or in a high-growth or start-up company.
- Experience at a private equity-backed company and a large public company.
