About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Automation Specialist to design, develop, and maintain automated processes that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual workload. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions across business and IT systems.

The ideal candidate has experience in scripting, process automation tools, and system integration, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyse business processes suitable for automation
  • Design, develop, and deploy automation workflows and scripts
  • Implement solutions using RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate)
  • Integrate systems and applications using APIs and automation frameworks
  • Monitor and maintain automated processes to ensure reliability and performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues and failures
  • Document workflows, processes, and technical specifications
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and business stakeholders to gather requirements
  • Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards
  • Continuously optimise and enhance automation solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5+ years of experience in automation, scripting, or RPA development
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar)
  • Experience with automation tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, Power Automate, etc.)
  • Familiarity with APIs, databases, and system integrations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Experience with workflow tools or low-code/no-code platforms
