About Safran
Safran is a French multinational high-technology group operating in the aviation (propulsion, equipment and interiors), defense and space markets. It was formed in 2005 through the merger of aircraft engine manufacturer SNECMA and electronics specialist SAGEM, and has a global presence with operations across many countries. Its U.S. subsidiary Safran Federal Systems provides Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (R-PNT) solutions and custom engineering services to U.S. Government agencies and defense organizations.
