Mater (Mater Group) is a not-for-profit healthcare organisation in Queensland, Australia. It operates hospitals across the state and works across health care, education, research, and fundraising and philanthropy. The group was formed in 2016 by bringing Mater Health, Mater Education, Mater Research and Mater Foundation under a single unified banner, continuing an organisation founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1906.
