About Housing Assistance Council Inc
The Housing Assistance Council (HAC) is a national nonprofit and certified community development financial institution that supports affordable housing efforts throughout rural America. Since 1971, HAC has provided below-market financing for affordable housing and community development, along with technical assistance and training, research and information, and policy work, with an emphasis on the poorest of the poor in the most rural places, including Native American communities, the Mississippi Delta, farmworkers, the southwest border colonias, and Appalachia.
